Koto - Dragon's Legend (Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix) [released on 11.03.2025] Description by the DJ: "This track is from 1986 and is based on the 1983 laserdisc game "Dragonâs Lair". The sequencers complete this instrumental piece with the short keyboard interludes bringing us into the adventure. It is one of the Italo-Disco forerunners style with Koto bringing to us again a dance floor movement. I have taken the 12â version and the dub to create this replay for a ReStructure Mix â new beats and a new arrangement to make this one fun once again".

Some considerations from Saul Tyni (Everdune, Lightracer projects) in his blog (posted on 09.03.2025):
Thoughts on cover artwork for music releases
Cover art serves as a visual introduction to music, utilizing elements of graphic design such as typography, logos, composition & color harmony. It enriches the overall experience and offers listeners a visual first impression of the music. However, it is essential to remember that, despite the significance of cover art, the music itself is always the most important element.
There are various ways to create cover art. One option is to commission a professional artist, which allows for interaction and feedback during the creative process. In this case, it is essential to credit the artist properly. Another option is to design the cover yourself, using any technique available, keeping in mind that a simple cover can serve its purpose well. The 3rd option is to use image generators or/& AI to generate the cover, which can be a cost-effective solution if hiring an artist is not feasible. However, it is crucial to acknowledge AI's role in the credits.
Self made cover arts
As a professional in visual arts who also creates music, designing cover art for my own music releases feels natural. The covers I create are often sci-fi-themed and frequently depict various characters. This idea stems from my goal of crafting events, atmospheres, and stories around a theme in my albums, making the cover art a kind of illustration of that concept.A good cover stands out and can even create a âwowâ effect. Its success depends especially on two factors: technical execution, meaning well-crafted details, and visual structure, which involves balanced composition and color harmony. The absence of cover art or a modest design can sometimes be a deliberate stylistic choice, which can highlight the idea that the music should speak for itself. Professional-level cover art can be expensive, making a self-made cover a practical option for many artists. In such cases, a simple and functional design that supports the music is often more effective than a complex one. The freedom of the artist in designing cover art depends on the situation. While music is more abstract by nature than books or films, different musical genres often provide guidelines for the themes of cover art.
Artificial Intelligence
Artificial intelligence has made it incredibly easy to generate impressive visual material, including cover art. However, this raises ethical questions. AI is not an independent artist but a tool that relies on existing material & the works of artists. Transparency about the use of AI is essential, and it should be clearly indicated in the credits if AI was involved in creating the cover. While I do not condemn anyone for using AI to create cover art, I believe it is important to credit AI honestly and accurately. Art made by humans tends to (and should) be more valued because it offers uniqueness and emotion. While AI-generated images can be visually appealing, they often lack creativity and personality. AI-generated art can also suffer from repetitive elements & sometimes contain errors, such as disproportionate body parts.
Cover art is an essential part of a music release, enhancing the listening experience. The key factors are technical execution, visual balance, and honesty in the creditsâwhether the cover is made by a human or with the help of AI. Above all, the music remains the most important element.
